As Chief Commissioner I am immensely proud to represent a Movement that has dedicated
itself to the wellbeing of Girls and Women in our country.
Our mission remains steadfast: to empower girls and young women to accept challenges,
develop their full potential, and become responsible citizens of the country and the world at
large.
In an ever-changing world, the values of leadership, resilience, and community service that we
instill in our members are more crucial than ever. Through our diverse programs, from Guiding
in schools to community development projects, we provide a safe and supportive space for
every girl to find her voice, build her confidence, and lead with purpose.
Whether you are a current member of the Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association, an alumnus, a
parent, or a supporter, I invite you to explore our journey, celebrate our achievements, and join
us as we continue to strengthen the present and inspire and empower the next generation of
female leaders in Sri Lanka.
