For over a century, the SLGGA has encouraged girls and young women to take on leadership roles and grow personally. The 24th INAP took place in Madhya Pradesh India from 2nd to 8th February 2023 featuring a range of thrilling activities such as sky cycling, parasailing, rock climbing, and trekking. This experience highlighted the significance of stepping outside my comfort zone and I realized how important it is to be prepared for any situation that may arise. I am truly grateful and appreciative of the SLGGA  for providing us with the opportunity to participate in such a unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Asia Pacific Regional International Leadership Round table & Youth Mobilisation Summit
I got a chance to take part in the Asia Pacific Regional International Leadership Roundtable, which was held from the 11th- 14th of June 2023 and the Asia Pacific Youth Mobilisation Summit, which was held from the 15th -18th of June 2023. Both events were held in Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia.
This was a new experience for me as it was my first time travelling abroad for an international event. At both events, there were various sessions by expert speaker panels on exploring strategies on how your people can work together on collaborative projects, how to develop competencies to solve issues we face as Youth in local, national as well as global communities and how we as Guides can incorporate the SDG's in day to day projects we carry out. At the events, there were participants from different age groups and generations, and because of this, we learnt how to work with diversity and inclusion.
Another point I should emphasise is that the speakers used practical examples and activities to help the participants understand more about what was said I thank our international commissioner and other Guide leaders and commissioners for giving me the opportunity to participate in these global events.

I had the amazing opportunity to represent SLGGA at the WAGGGS World Conference 2023.
Attending the conference and diving into discussions on global issues with fellow Girl Guides from around the world was truly inspiring.
On the 30th of July 2023, Day 04 of the WoCo, I had the opportunity to share the remarkable journey of the Differently Abled branch of SLGGA as a networking session with the participants from various countries in attendance. The session was both enjoyable and informative, fostering engagement and knowledge-sharing.

Girl Guiding has been one of my biggest inspirations in life, and it has moulded me to become empowered and assertive since I was 14. In a world of possibilities in Guiding, I got the opportunity to volunteer at the heart of the Swiss Alps, Our Chalet, from December 2022 to February 2023 in winter.
The friendships, experiences and adventures I received were truly remarkable and lively.
The blend of cultures worldwide and unbreakable bonds made my volunteer life bright and blissful. Even through challenging environments and situations, I was able to cope and continuously move forward with a positive attitude and leadership, which I received back from my homeland and association.
I am incredibly grateful with my whole heart for this wonderful experience back at Chalet.

I learned a lot at the "Free Being Me: Skills for Success" Event. I knew about body positivity, but this program gave me confidence and made me believe in things that were in the corner of my head. I realised that other people’s bodies aren’t our business, so we shouldn’t be commenting on them. And if something is not okay with someone’s body, they know it better than we do, so we’re not helping anyone by giving negative comments.

The Asia Pacific Intergenerational Leadership Roundtable which was held in Kuala Lumpur was a transformative experience. It provided a vital space for Girl Guide/Girl Scout members across generations to collaboratively explore strategies for sustainable leadership in Member Organisations and the Region. An invaluable opportunity for dialogue and collective growth.
