37 Differently Abled Guides Honoured at the Blue All Round Cord Ceremony 2026
The Blue All Round Cord Ceremony 2026, organized by the Branch for the Differently Abled Guides of the Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association, was held on 20 September 2026 at Temple Trees, Colombo.
A total of 37 differently abled Guides were recognized and awarded for their achievements, dedication and progress in Girl Guiding.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, Prime Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, as the Chief Guest. The programme included the presentation of awards, an address by the Chief Guest, tokens of appreciation and a Vote of Thanks delivered by a Guide with different abilities.
The event reflected SLGGA’s continued commitment to inclusion, empowerment and providing meaningful opportunities for every Guide to grow and achieve.
