Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association to Hold President's Guide and Prime Minister's Award Ceremony 2025

The Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association (SLGGA) will hold its President's Guide and Prime Minister's Award Ceremony 2025 on Sunday, 19 July 2026, at Temple Trees, Colombo 03.

This year's ceremony will celebrate the achievements of 350 award recipients, with 338 Guides receiving the prestigious President's Guide Award and 12 Rangers receiving the Prime Minister's Award. These awards represent the highest honours in the Guiding movement, recognizing excellence in leadership, service, personal development, and commitment to Guiding values.

The event will be graced by Hon. Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, Prime Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Madhura Senevirathna, Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education, will attend as the Guest of Honour.

The Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association congratulates all award recipients and extends its best wishes as they continue to serve their communities and inspire future generations of Guides.
