Founders of World Girl Guides and Girl Scouts
To commemorate the combined birthdays of the founders of World Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, Lord Baden Powell and his wife Lady Baden Powell, the Girl Guides of Gampaha District celebrated the Thinking Day on February 22nd at Vishaka Balika Vidyalaya in Sapugaskanda. More than 300 Guides, leaders, and commissioners attend this program. 

Guides from several schools represented different countries in the Asia Pacific Region, dressed in traditional attire, and stations were set up to offer local cuisine items.
